High School Program
& Tawjihi Equivalency

The Waldorf High School program follows a comprehensive progression and assessment framework to cover the requirements of the American High School Diploma in conformity with the Jordanian Ministry of Education and in alignment with our international accreditation organizations. Waldorf graduates have the advantage of gaining two important high school credentials: an internationally recognized American High School Diploma as well as a full Tawjihi equivalency and graduating average recognized in Jordan and other Arab countries.

Tawjihi Equivalency

Tawjihi is Jordan’s general secondary national exam. Tawjihi equivalency for their high school degree is a mandatory educational requirement for all students who plan to attend a Jordanian university or expect to work in Jordan’s public or private sector. Except for expatriate students in Jordan only temporarily or in other exceptional circumstances, all Waldorf students will obtain full Tawjihi equivalency as part of our school’s graduation requirements.

In order to obtain Tawjihi equivalency, students must fulfill all Waldorf graduation requirements and complete one of the following external examination options.

OPTION 1: Six ACT Subject Tests

To obtain equivalency in the science stream in Option 1, students must pass three science ACT Subject Tests including math.

Tawjihi equivalency average out of 100 will be calculated as follows:
