"Teaching is the only major occupation of man for which we have not yet developed tools that make an average person capable of competence and performance. In teaching we rely on the 'naturals,' the ones who somehow know how to teach."

Student Voice

It is not enough to just listen to student voice. We have an ethical imperative to really do something with students. Genuine student involvement is vital to school improvement. Student voice is already there. It is not something we give. It is something we honor.

The Haunted Castle

In a lonely castle, shadows play,
Where secrets hide both night and day.
With ancient stones and doors that creak,
A chilling tale begins to speak.

Amidst the towers, old and tall,
Whispers echo down the hall.
Ghosts from days of long ago,
Tell a tale of woe and woe.

A love once true, now lost in time,
In haunted verses, we shall rhyme.
In moonlight’s pale and ghostly glow,
The castle’s secrets start to show.

The past within these walls does dwell,
In stories that the shadows tell.
So beware if you should dare to roam,
In this ancient, haunted home.

The castle’s heart, a mystery,
A place where eerie sights you’ll see.
In the moon’s soft, eerie light,
The past comes back to life at night.

In this Gothic tale, we find,
A haunted castle, lost in time.
With whispers of a love now cold,
A story that will never grow old.
